Firstly, we aim to use the educational
and business culture, to be disseminated through the range of the vocational,
management and IT courses we are offering, as a means of promoting
international understanding in our fast changing and globalising world.
As a consequence, we
(i) respect individual differences and diversity
regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation
and religious belief
(ii) welcome into our collegiate community both locally
based UK and EU students as well as their overseas counterparts.
Secondly, the College will assist you within the context of a chosen career route, to prepare for the appropriate business, vocational and professional examinations, develop your full potential and plan for the assumption in the near future of a technical, administrative or managerial position in Commerce, Finance or Industry.
We have lecturers who provide teaching of the highest order to aid in the fulfilment of the College's objectives. To facilitate the pursuit of students' academic goals, the lecturing and administrative staff place special emphasis on meeting the welfare needs of all individuals; and most particularly, on the requirements of our non-EU arrivals who may be first-time visitors to a new and foreign environment. To aid the latter students in preparing for their future career roles, the College Counsellor usually organises seminars to which representatives from multinational organisations and the foreign diplomatic missions based in London are invited. During these seminars, our overseas students whose stay in the UK is temporary, are provided with information on how to maintain contact with media channels, entrepreneurs and commercial organisations in their home countries to assist them in nurturing the ground for their eventual return.
We hope you will find your membership of the College very rewarding and look forward to meeting you in the near future.
